Subsea 7 S.A. is an offshore energy services company registered in Luxembourg with operational headquarters in London, United Kingdom. It traces to a 2002 joint venture between DSND and Halliburton Subsea, and took its current form in January 2011 when Subsea 7 Inc. combined with Acergy S.A. The company is listed on the Oslo Bors under the ticker SUBC, and in July 2025 it signed a merger agreement with Saipem to combine the two groups into a single listed offshore energy services company, a deal Saipem's shareholders have since approved.
Subsea7 designs, engineers, and installs subsea pipelines, umbilicals, and field infrastructure for offshore oil and gas projects, and increasingly for offshore wind and carbon capture and storage work. Its fleet includes more than 30 construction and support vessels equipped with remotely operated vehicles for seabed survey, pipeline-installation support, and subsea intervention spanning the water column from seabed to surface. The wider group includes Seaway7 for offshore wind installation, Xodus for energy consulting, and 4Subsea for subsea data and integrity monitoring.
