StoneAge, Inc. is an employee-owned manufacturer of high-pressure waterblast tools and automated cleaning equipment based in Durango, Colorado. John Wolgamott and Jerry Zink, former classmates at the Colorado School of Mines, founded the company in 1979 after building a self-rotary waterjet nozzle in a Durango garage. StoneAge converted to a 100 percent employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) structure in 2015.
The company's automated product lines include Sentinel, a sensor-guided system that positions cleaning nozzles inside heat-exchanger tubes without a clear line of sight, and the AutoBox tractor series for cleaning horizontal, vertical and enclosed heat-exchanger bundles. Its Banshee system addresses tube-bundle cleaning, and the broader catalog covers hand-held and pneumatic rotating nozzles, flex-lance systems, and equipment for pipe, tank, vessel, surface and sewer-line cleaning.
