Sepro Group (Sepro Robotique) is an independent French manufacturer of robots for plastic injection molding, founded in 1973 in La Roche-sur-Yon, France, by Paul Radat under the name Societe d'Etude de nouveaux PROduits. The company operates from its La Roche-sur-Yon production site, opened in 1999, and runs 12 subsidiaries and sales offices across 42 countries.
Sepro's robot lines include the S-Line and S7 Line three-axis Cartesian robots, the 5X and 7X Line five-axis robots, and the 6X Visual six-axis robot, all operated through the company's Visual control platform. The robots mount on injection presses to remove molded parts, handle inserts, and perform in-mold labeling and other end-of-arm operations across automotive, medical and pharmaceutical, packaging, household goods, and consumer-electronics production lines. Sepro delivered its first numerically controlled Cartesian robot for injection presses in 1982 and its 1,000th robot in 1989, and has since equipped more than 40,000 injection molding machines worldwide.
The company employs about 650 people of 25 nationalities and holds ISO 9001 certification, covering design, production, distribution, after-sales service, and training, first achieved in 1998. It was renamed Sepro Group in 2013 and marked its 50th anniversary in 2023.
