RiACT ROBOTICS is a robotics software company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, founded in 2019 as a spin-out from Aalborg University. The company was co-founded by Bjarne Grossmann (CEO, former postdoctoral researcher at AAU), Francesco Rovida (CTO, former postdoctoral researcher at AAU), Volker Krueger (Co-Founder, former professor at AAU), and Magnus Philip Ritzau (CCO). A secondary product, XtendR, was developed jointly with Phoenix Mecano to extend cobot reach vertically, expanding the operational envelope in standard manufacturing cells. RiACT has received investment from Navigare Ventures, Butterfly Ventures of Finland, Mølgaard Capital, and Aalborg University.
