Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Co., Ltd. is a Chinese manufacturer of hydraulic and linear motion components headquartered at No. 99 Longqian Road, Wujin High-tech Development Zone, Changzhou, Jiangsu. The Hengli business dates from 1990, the joint-stock company was registered in 2005, and it has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since October 2011 under stock code 601100. Its exchange profile reports about 8,400 employees.

Hengli is best known as a leading supplier of hydraulic cylinders for excavators, and its catalogue covers high-pressure hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic piston pumps and motors, mobile control valves, industrial hydraulic valves, cartridge valves, hydraulic system integration, pneumatic components, electric drive and control products, cold-drawn seamless steel tubes, precision castings and surface treatment and sealing technology. A 2024 brochure also lists the HLSS series servo actuators, double-rod hydrostatic-bearing actuators with integrated magnetostrictive or LVDT displacement sensors used in materials, rail, automotive and civil-structure testing. Beyond excavators, its end markets include aerial work platforms, agricultural machinery, offshore engineering, shield tunnelling, mining and electrified construction machinery.

The group has grown through acquisitions and overseas plants. It acquired Shanghai Lixin Hydraulic in 2012 and Berlin-based InLine Hydraulik in 2015, opened a plant near Chicago in 2017 operated by Hengli America in Bolingbrook, Illinois, and has a Japanese precision hydraulic parts subsidiary, a European holding in Stahnsdorf, Germany, a manufacturing company in Mexico (construction started 2021), operations in Brazil and Indonesia, and sales offices in India and Japan. A global R&D centre in Changzhou became fully operational in 2025.

The robotics link comes through its linear actuator business. In 2021 Hengli raised 1.4 billion yuan in a private placement for a linear actuator project, run by subsidiary Jiangsu Hengli Precision Industry Co., Ltd. The company's linear actuator product category comprises electric cylinders, ball screws and linear guideways; electric cylinders are used in construction machinery steering and expansion mechanisms and precision dispensing machines, and ball screws in all-electric injection moulding machines. According to 36Kr, production lines for 104,000 standard and 4,500 heavy-duty ball-screw electric cylinders entered production in 2024, and a further project for 660,000 metres of standard and 422,000 metres of precision ball screws was scheduled for November 2025. Broker research from July 2026 describes the linear actuator business as having moved to batch delivery and reports that Hengli is developing planetary roller screws and linear joint assemblies for humanoid robots, with possible expansion into motors. Chinese industry coverage of humanoid screw suppliers regularly lists Hengli, and 36Kr reported that Hengli Precision products have entered Tesla's supply chain; the company's own website does not mention robots.
