"Making the Image Intelligent"
Japanese edge-AI processor IP and SoC maker providing vision recognition products for robotics picking, AMR navigation and advanced driver safety.
Digital Media Professionals Inc. (DMP) is a Tokyo-listed semiconductor IP and AI computing company founded in 2002, originally as a developer of GPU hardware and software IP cores. Building on more than two decades of compact graphics processor design, DMP now delivers a full-stack AI portfolio spanning algorithms, IP cores, SoCs, modules, AI cameras and cloud services, targeting the robotics and advanced safety (ADAS/DMS) markets. Its edge AI processor line includes the Di1 SoC, the ZIA DV700 NPU series, the A3000 V2 NPU IP core and the ZIA ISP, designed for low-power, real-time image recognition in cameras, drones, special vehicles and electronic mirrors. For robotics, DMP offers the Cambrian 3D vision system, a Universal Robots-certified add-on for robotic arms that picks transparent, plastic and shiny metal parts under variable lighting, plus ZIA MOVE, an AMR software platform incorporating ZIA SLAM visual SLAM for camera-based autonomous navigation.
On the safety side, ZIA SAFE and ZIA Cloud SAFE apply AI image recognition to drive recorders, electronic mirrors, rail vehicles and smart city infrastructure. DMP also provides professional services including system design, board development and custom AI solutions. The company is headquartered in Nakano, Tokyo and is establishing the DMP Tokyo Robotics Innovation Center, while expanding internationally through partnerships in drones, surveillance cameras and edge AI across Japan, India and Taiwan.
