Dieffenbacher GmbH Maschinen- und Anlagenbau is a fifth-generation German family business founded in 1873 by Jakob Dieffenbacher in Eppingen, Baden-Württemberg. Over 150 years the company has grown from a small fruit-press and locksmith workshop into a global leader in press systems and complete production plants. Its three core business divisions are: Wood-Based Panels (particleboard, MDF, OSB, LVL, wood fiber insulation board, and wood recycling lines, including the CPS+ continuous press introduced in 2015 as the industry gold standard); Forming (hydraulic presses, composites processing lines for SMC, LFT-D, GMT, HP-RTM, tape laying, and hybrid processes serving automotive, aerospace, e-mobility, and sports industries — with reference customers including Audi AG, Teijin Automotive Technologies, and TxV Aero Composites); and Recycling (Fiber2Fiber MDF recycling, Waste2Product solutions, and the EU EcoReFibre project).
The company also offers Energy solutions including solid-fuel and gas-fired power plants and industrial waste heat recovery systems. Its CEBRO Smart Plant platform integrates EVORIS digitalization software for production optimization and remote connectivity. The group operates in more than 80 countries worldwide and has delivered plants to customers such as Sonae Arauco, Roseburg, Norbord, Swiss Krono, and Pfleiderer.
In 2014, Dieffenbacher expanded into recycling technology through novel sorting and processing solutions. The current fifth generation is led by CEO Christian Dieffenbacher (appointed 2019) and CFO Lukas Langer (joined board 2024). The company's headquarters remain in Eppingen at Heilbronner Straße 20.
All systems are designed and manufactured to industrial standards and deployed with lifecycle service and modernization programs.
