Cleveron

Cleveron is an Estonian robotics company headquartered in Viljandi, Estonia, that designs and manufactures automated parcel terminals and robotic click-and-collect solutions for retail and logistics operators worldwide. The company was founded in 2007, growing from the logistics operations of Estonian online furniture retailer ON24 whose internal delivery division scaled into a standalone automation business initially operating under the SmartPOST brand. After the SmartPOST name was acquired by Finnish postal operator Itella in 2010, the company rebranded as Cleveron and redirected its focus to developing proprietary robotics-based parcel pickup products. Cleveron was named Company of the Year in Estonia in 2018 and its solutions are now deployed in more than 50 countries across five continents.

Cleveron's product line covers a range of automated in-store and street-front parcel pickup systems. The Cleveron 302 is a compact parcel locker for last-mile delivery access point deployment. The Cleveron 401, internationally recognized as the Pickup Tower after being branded by Walmart when it became the first retailer to install the product, provides robotic in-store parcel retrieval for customers. The Cleveron 402, launched in 2017 and at the time the world's largest extendable robotics-based parcel terminal, was a finalist in the EUIPO Design Europa Awards in 2023. In 2019 Cleveron launched the Cleveron 501, the world's first robotics-based automated grocery pickup solution, subsequently adopted by major Estonian grocery chains Coop, Selver, and Prisma for curbside and in-store order fulfillment.

Cleveron's global retail and logistics customer base includes Walmart, Asda, Canadian Tire, Decathlon, Inditex, Falabella, and Lojas Americanas. The company has attracted Nordic investment, including from a Danish fund, to support its continued international expansion. Cleveron's automated terminal solutions reduce last-mile delivery failure rates and carrier costs while generating additional retail foot traffic, addressing a core efficiency challenge shared by omnichannel retailers and parcel delivery operators globally.
