Agriplant NV is a Belgian family-owned company founded in 1982 and headquartered in Langemark-Poelkapelle, West Flanders. The company specializes in the design, production, and sale of automated vegetable transplanting machines under the Agriplanter brand. Since the 1970s the family behind Agriplant has accumulated experience in field planting of sugar beets, chicory, and green vegetables.
In 1998 Agriplant launched its first fully automated planting machine for tray and plug plants. Today the company offers a wide range of models — from the 1 SP single-row unit up to the 6 SP six-row machine — covering brassica crops (Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi), celery, tomatoes, onions, fennel, and peppers. The Agriplanter robot collects plants from both plastic and EPS foam trays, using a sensor head with conveyor belt and empty-plug detection to ensure only viable seedlings are planted.
Key features include automatic depth control, adjustable planting distance, and low ground pressure. All machines are engineered entirely in-house using 3D CAD design. Agriplant also provides sales, setup, and after-sales service, and is actively seeking regional dealers.
