A multidisciplinary systems engineering competition where teams design, build, and operate prototype lunar construction robots capable of excavation and off-world tasks aligned with NASA’s Artemis objectives.
Time
The culminating in-person event is scheduled for May 19–21, 2026, with earlier qualifying rounds.
Location
Final Challenge hosted at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA.
Target Participants
Open to U.S. students enrolled in higher education institutions, including colleges, universities, vocational and technical schools.
