Point One Navigation, Inc. is a San Francisco-based precision positioning technology company founded in 2016 by CEO Aaron Nathan, who previously founded Cornell's DARPA Urban Challenge team and served as Chief Architect at Coherent Navigation (acquired by Apple). The company builds centimeter-level location services and positioning software for autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, and mobile platforms at a cost dramatically lower than legacy surveying-grade solutions.

Point One's core offering is the Polaris RTK Corrections Network, a nationwide and international reference station infrastructure providing both True RTK and Virtual RTK correction services. Polaris covers the entire United States, EU, Canada, the UK, and Australia with uniform 30-40 km base station spacing, delivering fast convergence times and 99.9% uptime. Virtual RTK is powered by State Space Representation (SSR) technology that models GNSS error sources including clock errors, ephemeris errors, tropospheric density, and ionospheric variation to produce corrections without requiring a nearby physical base station.

Complementing the network is FusionEngine, Point One's positioning software that fuses GNSS satellite signals with inertial measurement unit (IMU) data, wheel odometry, and additional sensor inputs to maintain centimeter-level accuracy even in GNSS-challenged environments such as urban canyons, tunnels, and dense foliage. Point One also offers the Atlas INS (Inertial Navigation System), a hardware module integrating its FusionEngine algorithms, and a GraphQL API for platform-level integration.

The company designs and manufactures its own commercial-grade base stations in the USA and EU. Point One serves use cases including autonomous delivery robots, precision agriculture, construction survey, motorcycle and micro-mobility positioning, and autonomous vehicle development. In November 2025, Point One raised a $35 million Series C led by Khosla Ventures, valuing the company at $230 million.
