Founded in 1967 in Munich, Germany, grapho metronic Mess- und Regeltechnik GmbH is an OEM partner specializing in high-precision in-process measurement and control systems based on optical sensors. The company began as a developer of laboratory measuring devices for the offset printing process and introduced the world's first online measuring system for printing presses (CCI) in 1976. Since 2015 it operates as an independent manufacturer supplying inline measurement solutions across Industry 4.0 sectors including printing, laser welding, and special machine construction.
Products include inline density control systems (IDC), intelligent cameras with integrated LED illumination for print mark measurement, and customized microspectrometer-based sensors for color value analysis. All systems are developed and manufactured in-house in Munich. The company is managed by Klaus Karcher and employs approximately 31 staff.
