Dassault Systemes SE is a French software company founded in 1981 and headquartered at 10 Rue Marcel Dassault in Velizy-Villacoublay, near Paris. It is listed on Euronext Paris under the ticker DSY, is led by chief executive Pascal Daloz with Rouven Bergmann as chief financial officer, and closed 2025 with 25,967 employees. It serves more than 390,000 enterprise customers across 155 countries from 188 sites.

The company sells design, simulation, manufacturing and lifecycle software, organised around the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and a portfolio of brands. CATIA covers product design and 3D modelling; SOLIDWORKS and DRAFTSIGHT cover mainstream 3D and 2D design; SIMULIA covers engineering simulation; ENOVIA covers collaboration and lifecycle management; DELMIA covers digital manufacturing and supply chain; BIOVIA and MEDIDATA cover life sciences research and clinical trials; GEOVIA covers natural resources and urban modelling; NETVIBES and EXALEAD cover data intelligence; 3DVIA covers consumer 3D visualisation; Centric PLM covers fashion and consumer goods; and OUTSCALE is the company's own cloud infrastructure. In 2025 it introduced 3D UNIV+RSES and AI-driven virtual companion capabilities on the platform.

For a robotics supplier directory the relevant asset is DELMIA, and specifically its robotics line. DELMIA Robotics is offline robot programming and virtual commissioning software: engineers design, program and validate a robotic cell in simulation, detect collisions and generate collision-free paths before any hardware is installed, then reuse the same model for virtual commissioning against PLC logic. Capability modules cover material handling and palletising, arc welding and sealant deposition through curve simulation, spot welding through spot simulation, and surface finishing. The product is sold as twelve role-based configurations including Robot Programmer, Assembly Robot Programmer, Material Handling Robot Programmer, Body-in-White Robot Programmer, Fabrication Robot Programmer, Robotic Workcell Simulation Engineer, Surface Robot Programmer and Robotics Virtual Commissioning Analyst. The company claims reductions of up to 80 per cent in robot programming time and up to 75 per cent in commissioning time, and cites ABI Research ranking DELMIA first among offline programming vendors. The robotics capability traces to Deneb Robotics, acquired in 1997, which became the basis of the DELMIA robotics portfolio; SolidWorks Corporation was acquired the same year.

Financially the company was flat in 2025. Revenue was EUR 6.24 billion, unchanged as reported and up 4 per cent in constant currency, of which software revenue was EUR 5.64 billion. Subscription and support revenue grew 6 per cent to EUR 4.62 billion and now represents 82 per cent of software revenue, up from 80 per cent, which is the mix shift the company is managing toward. IFRS operating margin was 21.7 per cent and non-IFRS 32.0 per cent; IFRS diluted earnings per share were EUR 0.90 and non-IFRS EUR 1.31. Cash stood at EUR 4.13 billion with a net financial position of EUR 1.53 billion. Guidance for 2026 is 3 to 5 per cent revenue growth in constant currency with a non-IFRS operating margin of 32.2 to 32.6 per cent.

The company is not a robot maker and supplies no hardware. Its position in the robotics supply chain is upstream of deployment: the simulation and programming layer that integrators and manufacturers use to specify, compare and commission robot cells, which is why integrators such as Robot At Work build their offering on DELMIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform rather than on a robot vendor's own toolchain.
